I've always hated the first couple of weeks of relationships.

Mmm hmm, I agree. I want to jump straight to living together, lying on the sofa wearing trackies and getting to be unreasonable with no real fear that you'll be dumped. I don't find the whole "what does he think of me?! Will he call me?" thing exciting. That is why I have only ever gone out with people I've known for ages before. I'm weird though... if I fancied someone I'd spend months basically grooming them until they knew me so well we were already in a comfy place, then be all "hey ! let's be lovers!"

So you see, borderline stalking works for me, even if meeting someone nice and going on a date seems to be the easy option :) The truth is, I'm too fucking lazy to date or follow relationship rules. I need to get to "complacent" as fast as possible or I'm doomed.

But then you get into the Friends Zone and everything complicates by about ten million times. I know it worked spectacularly for me, but I always end up thinking, I'd actually really rather keep them as a friend than risk losing it all by pulling them.

I lose in all things.
