And I say this with great love and devotion obviously, but it kind of has to be Mulder and Scully, no? ;) Between alien abductions, familial mindfuckery, cancer, government conspiracies, and the fact that neither of them is capable of having a functional romantic relationship, you can practically see the suitcases they drag around behind them. Although I've subsequently come to appreciate and actually enjoy this episode, the deep deep angst of Never Again nearly killed me at the time.

I don't have words for how much I love Mulder & Scully, and most of my flist will understand exactly why. Hell, this show and their relationship is the reason that I know half my flist! <3
