Amy, Jess and I saw "Monster-in-Law" lastnite. It was really funny. J. Lo could have been any actress. She was OK, she'd didn't "make" the movie, but she didn't knock it off course. Jane Fonda and Wanda Sykes were hilarious. They were the reason I saw it, it's the first movie I have seen since "White Noise" for Pete's sake ( Read more... )

I was lying in bed trying to go to sleep thinking about how mediocre she is. I'm not defending her anymore, she really is just sort of "there". She fits a demographic and that's it. That's the problem these days marketers have too much control over everything and STARS are just marketing tools. J. Lo is big because the Hispanic population is growing and Hispanica (new word!) is so accepted and popular. Plus, she's not white, she's not black, and really when she's got her hair up and everything she's not really Hispanic, she's just everything. She is honey, but at least the original Honey - Mariah Carey, is nuts and has some real insane personality. I'm going to start defending her instead. Channel my powers over to her.
I wish there were more dynamic people in the world. Like Jane Fonda . . .

I'm trying not to.
I put her outside because she looked sad.
I hope if I leave her alone for the most part, like your supposed to, she'll cheer up.
