these descriptions were the sweetest and most personal by far. the story about your yia yia and her cousin made me tear up a little bit! that's such love, the kind you don't really hear about anymore.

i'm telling you, you have to read middlesex! you'd understand it better than anyone else.

You know what you'd really like? In Kos the churches have neon crosses on top, like in Romeo and Juliette, you can sort of see one in the minaret photo off to the right in the background.

The miniature churches look like little white adobes almost, but they are rectangular. They're tiny and cool.
