M5 - Week 7
The little pupperino jumped up and down waggling her tail in excitement.
That was what pupperinos did, according to the old tales: waggling (and jumping and running and sniffing butts and pooping).
She moved quickly and stepped into the clearing, sniffing a few tufts of grass here and there, pausing briefly to look at a flower she had never seen before.
“Imma do a big bork bork when I reach the other corgos” she muttered looking down the hill where a huge barn was standing.
The wooden walls where painted red and the area was filled with purple crystals and open rifts. She had finally found it: the lair of the corgis of time!
She had crossed seas and forest, a town of evil cades and a swamp filled with weird reptiles just to get there, to get where she knew she belonged.
Alexiel yawned and rolled on her back.
On her side Shade was scratching her ear, relaxing along with Tabata under the warm rays of the sun. It had been a peaceful day at the end of a peaceful week, last of a peaceful decade.
Hush was feeding the blonde cows in the back, the rest of the pack was scattered around the garden, playing and running, sniffing butts, flying over the pastel pink sky.
It was Knight, that blondie none of them particularly liked but that for some reason Hush seemed to love a bit too much, that noticed the intruder.
“Ehi, ehi, everyone, there is something coming down the hill on the north”
The trio looked into each other eyes, growling softly, they were not expecting visitor, they did not welcome visitors either.
“I guess we are getting old” borked Shade “Look at how grumpy we are getting, every time”.
“Gettin? I probably was always old, surely was always grumpo” replied Alexiel, getting on her tiny paws.
“I was too, but now I’m also very annoyed. I hate moving” added Tabata, following without joy the two friends.
“Wait” she said again, coming in the line of sight “Is that… a pupperino?”
“Indeed” Shade was shook “I haven’t seen one in ages”
“This is a great news tho” Alexiel fell on her butt, looking at the small corgerino approaching “This mean she’s the first”.
Tabata and Shade waggled their tails in approval, she was indeed the first. They all knew more were to come, stomping their tiny paws, jumping in excitement with all their magic and with their fluffy butts.
It was just the beginning, the new corgeneration was just getting ready.
