Summary: Jinki is in the hospital.
Taemin isn't expecting the knock on the door. His dad was supposed to be coming back, but he wouldn't knock on the door to his own house. It makes him a little bit cautious, since he's home alone with his sister, but he stands and cracks it open anyway. "Hello?"
There's a girl standing on the other side of the door, eyes rimmed in red-she's been crying, it looks like-offering him the tiniest of smiles. "Taemin?" she asks.
"Yes?" he says hesitantly. "Who are you?"
"My name is Sodam," she says, sniffling a little and bringing a hand up to wipe at her eyes. "I'm Jonghyun's sister."
"...Did something happen to him?" he asks, opening the door a little more so he can see her better.
"He sent me over here to get you, since he can't come get you himself," she tries to explain, avoiding Taemin's question. He doesn't want to be worried about Jonghyun, because he-together with Eunsook-is taking all of Jinki's attention away. But the older girl looks so upset he can't help it. Did he die?
"Why does he want me?" he asks instead, frowning.
"Because Jinki is in the hospital," she says softly, tilting her head back toward her car. "He thought you and your sister should come see him."
Taemin feels like he can't breathe, and he's suddenly clutching at Taeyeon's hand behind him. "I-Is he okay?"
"I don't know. I really don't know."
