Snowboarding is fun!

I just had my first lesson in snowboarding.
It was the second time in my life I tried snowboarding.

For those who like statistics, more will follow here:

• I was 31 year younger when I received my first lesson in skiing.
  
• We were a class of 8 students, 7 of which were women. I wondered why
  
• At least two were experienced skiers
  
• At least two had tried

a. How come your going snowboarding in mid summer?
and b. Whilst I know that you do have hills in the netherlands you don't exactly hav mountains.

In Zoetermeer (a town close to The Hague) and in a few more places in the Netherlands (and Germany, I think) exist "Snowworld". They have huge refrigerated halls with slopes (the longest in Zoetermeer is 210 metres!) where you can rent material and access by the hour. It's quite expensive, but you do it maybe like once a year.
