So I finally got my results from retaking the CASA examination at the end of the year. And I rocked that shit! In spite of barely sleeping the night before! I got a perfect 30/30 on listening, 25/30 on writing(I didn't proofread. It was the last test, and I'd just sort of checked out. I probably could have gotten a few more points if I'd bothered

Whoa -- congrats! I have a feeling that I won't be so proud of my exam that I'll be posting the results publically.

3H is very good though. I remember looking at the scale and thinking 'dude, I'm not a 5 in English.'

I heard a story about a girl who went straight from high school into some sort of government language program, and just had a knack for languages - she managed at the end of the program to get a 4 or even 4+ in Arabic...but when they tested her in English, it turns out she only had like a 3/3+ since she didn't have much education. No idea if the story is true, but I think it'd be funny to be in some ways more fluent in your non-native tongue.
