Apparently my fancy ass computer from IBM\Lenovo was too good for dialup, but after knocking some sense into it, I finally got my modem working (yes, this does feel very, very 1998, as Fred said), so now I don't have to hike 30 minutes through construction and mayhem just to read my emails. W00t! -

Walking and Moving

I'm going hiking this weekend with this apparently church sponsored(but generally attended by people from various religions, or rather, Christian and Muslim, country and western) group. Pixar is awesome
I finished my (kind of scant) homework a bit early last night, so I watched the movie Ratatoiulle (as dubbed into Egyptian Arabic - I think I understood 70%-80% of the words, and 90% of the meaning). It was wonderful to laugh for nearly two hours solid, after being sick for this long and being this far from home. -
Feeling a bit better
Well, my cold is definitely waning,but the box of strawberries I bought on a whim to cheer myself up turns out to have been a bad choice, as they gave me a stomach bug. So for the last couple of days, I've been taking a bit of a 1-2 punch of headcold/flu + stomach troubles ( Read more... ) -
Sick
So, I spent most of yesterday huddled in a fetal position in my bed...I think I had a fever, though I don't have an actual thermometer. I just generally felt like complete crap. Lacking in motivation
I don't know what's wrong, but I seem to be completely and utterly uninterested in doing any of my homework...ever. Partially, I think it's because of the cold - really, most of what i want to do is to just sit under my covers/sleep ridiculous amounts (though not sure why I'm so tired, since I definitely feel way more exhausted than I did last ( Read more... ) -
Jingle bells...
It's snowing. And kind of a lot...looks like if it were a bit colder, we might get a pretty good accumulation, though presently its mostly melting. Tonight, things should get interesting when the temperature drops...
