Similar to what we were talking about earlier, it seems that for the most part you definitely have a yin for characters that need to go through some sort of transformation to find fullfillment/reach their goal. (Delirium is constantly in flux, than you have Hotaru---literally in a few different ways---Dilandau, Claudia, Alessa, Eric, Griffith, and Satsuki---though for most of her on-screen time she's post-transformation.) With Eric and Satsuki arguably---and more definitely Griffith and Alessa---it's a darker transformation, but the basic theme is still there: tranformation grants power and capability

Actually stopping to think about it, it looks like you might be right. It's kinda weird and nifty that I didn't even try to think of any similarities between the characters when I picked them.
