So researching what types of piano music Lady Mary could conceivably have learned how to play has led me to reserving and checking-out piano music (that is quite possibly too difficult for me to play) from work. But I don't own a piano, so then it led to me researching digital pianos, which though less expensive than there acoustic counterparts,

They're pretty cool actually, and it seems like the technology has come a long way compared to the older style electric keyboards I was familiar with. The keys are weighted like actual piano keys, so they give much greater dynamic control, you can play more notes at the same time, and the sound quality is much better.

Aside from being less expensive than an acoustic piano, there's the benefit that it's easier to fit a good digital piano in a small space, which is what I have, plus I'd be able to practice with headphones on, so I wouldn't have to worry about bugging my roommates.
