Poor sicky! Make sure to get some probiotics/acidophalus for your intestines. It will speed recovery.

You know I took some Acidophalus on Sunday morning and I do believe it helped. I will get more to take, and probably make a regiment of it since my stomach seems to want to be in upheavals lately.

Do you like the taste of licorice?
Licorice is one of those amazing plants that has multiple positive effects on the body. It eases stomach upset, and you can take it as a tea, or even eat a good licorice chew(not the fake kind. lol.)

Ginger eases nausea. Fennel seed promotes healthy intestinal movement. Yogurt with live cultures will promote good flora(just get the plain kind, skip the sugars, which can upset the intestines as well). Papaya enzyme is a great digestive aid, and the chewable pills are oddly satisfying for a sugar craving. You are probably just a little out of balance is all.

first of all I say again, why you don't go into holistic medicine I'll never know.

Second, I'm not a fan of licorice but I would be willing to give it a shot as a tea. I did take some papaya enzyme on Sunday along with the acidophilous which is why I think my stomach cramps did stop. Yogurt I have to skip as I've become somwhat lactos intolerant of late. And I think you are totally right about being out of balance... I really just have to care for my stomach more or I'll end up with a bad gut like my poor mother.

I am glad that you are feeling better today. I was so happy to see you in Sat. I am glad that you guys had a nice time.

If you are looking for a good source of ginger - Yogi Tea carries a ginger tea that is reasonably priced, tastes good and is decaf.

*love*
