The Pokemon Trainer is an interesting choice for a character that wasn't originally announced. I also like that there are multiple control settings. For those who don't like the Wii-mote or what have you.

The developers make a lot of good decisions like the multiple control settings, but then they totally drop the ball by making Lyn (from Fire Emblem) an assist trophy instead of a full-fledged character.

I'm not familiar with that character. But Sonic being a playable character is A+
