agh they can buy like 5 guitars with the money they'll charge me. I hope the insurance company pays nearly all.

They should. But yeah, MRIs are ridiculously expensive. When I had to get my shoulder scanned, I wanted to just ask the guy at the med school to scan it while he was at it.

How did you get to do MRIs, anyway?

Initially by calling Carol McKenna at 935-8632. Through her I met Tony, a post-doc who does frequent MRIs. He likes me and I like him, so he emails me whenever he needs a subject. I've probably done about 30 MRIs in the last couple years.
