Things and Things and Things

First off...

FUCKING OW.

Apparently, at some point during the ear stretching process, the stretches go up in 2 millimetre increments, instead of 1. If I'd known this before going from what I thought was a 7 (but was in actual fact a 6) to an 8, I would've AT LEAST invested in some tape to do it gradually first. I can honestly say that what I have just done hurt worse than any piercing I've ever had (and I have an industrial). A good 9/10 on the pain scale, and a definite need for a packet of frozen vegetables on the ear.

Now would be a good time to get back to studying.
Oh god... one exam down, 2 more to go. Finished Psychology, and I don't think I'll be doing any more of that in the future. It's not that it wasn't interesting or anything, just that it seemed to sink in a lot slower than anything BIology, probably because I can't visualise Psychology things. I couldn't have studied harder for that exam (and have neglected Marine and Evolution in the process!!). Can't begin to imagine exactly how well I may have done, I will just have to wait and see.
I wanted to get about 90% on both end of term tests for sciences. Well it turns out that my average for the two was somewhere between 86 and 88% - not far off! It does relieve a little pressure, but I spent the whole summer studying Psychology to get an equal grip on it, and now the Marine exam is in FIVE DAYS and I haven't covered all the material. And even when I cover all the material, there is the need to go over it again and again, so I can write a competent essay... oh god. 'Unprepared' is the perfect word for this.
Going to the Aquarium in Plymouth on Saturday to put some images to the things I have been learning, hopefully I can learn a few good examples of species which we didn't learn about in lectures. I know I have to venture into that awful place called Plymouth for this trip, but it should be worth it in the end. Plus I get to see all the pretty fish and things.

But for now, it is imperative that I get back to studying for this exam. I need to put the little energy I have left to good use (9:30AM start this morning to get the ball rolling for some volunteer work over the summer)

piercings, stress, good news, work, university, pain
