I have a solution to your little sister:

You need:

1 hot dog
1 muscle relaxer

Put pill inside hot dog.
Yell, "HOT DOG!"

At this point, Hannah will run towards the call and start perspiring for the hot dog. The hot dog will be down her gullet in about 3 seconds. End of problem.

Ah! I hate that feeling! Turns out I'm usually right :S
Enclose yourself in a little bubble during the car ride, turn the volume on your iPod really loud and read something. That's usually what I do...
