Wow, you met empath - so cool! She mentioned it in her LJ and I was glad to hear you two got together (as usual, when I tried to post a comment on her LJ entry, it wouldn't let me - do you ever have that problem with her LJ, it's happened to me 3-4 times).

Also, glad you survived your first 'loner' trip - you must be glad to see your husband and kid.

Hey! I'm so glad to see that you enjoyed yourself on your trip! Business trips can be fun and companies definitely do not skimp on the hotels! Your description of your BC trip reminds me so much about my trip to Seattle, how I fell in love with the mountains, the ocean, the city! It was also cloudy for a bit but there was a lot of sunshine.

You think this is your first 'loner' trip, but as I recall you traveled from Indiana to Alberta by yourself minus the 'rents taking your to the bus stop. That was a very stressful trip too!

Anyway, I'm glad you had fun and I'm sure your work review will go well.
