So a few weeks ago, my friend Carmen, who I worked with at Chrysler, called me to see if I was interested in applying for a job where she works. TRW is hiring for a position on 26 and Van Dyke which is approximately 10 minutes from my house. So, I decided to go far it just to see what happens and I got a job offer out of it ( Read more... )

So I decided to take the job at TRW. The leave is not exactly the same but it's pretty close and I decided the proximately to home is such a big thing to me that it'll be worth it.

I do know 4 people who work at TRW - two of them are pretty good friends of mine. Unfortunately, none of them work in the same office as me. But maybe I'll see them around every once in a while.

Carmen and I report to the same Director - but she's in Livonia and I'm in Washington.
