Poor woman. And strangely enough, I was watching Belgian telly in a hotel room a couple of weeks ago and there was a programme about a woman who suspected all her neighbours (as in, the whole neighbourhood, everyone in her street) of spying on her. She was interviewed in the programme and seemed sincerely devastated, claimed they were making her life a living Hell. Turns out it was outright paranoia and it was she who had cameras rigged up everywhere, filmed everyone continuously, called the police all the time to report everyone... The neighbours were rightly tired of her and pissed off.
What reminded me of this is that she was a nurse (not fired, at least at the time of filming). I think nursing must be a very stressful job.
What's not clear from my review is that Leach, to judge from her own testimony, was probably going off the rails before she became a nurse. But I am sure her job didn't help her state of mind.
