He didn't. He took the code from Triggur without asking. Which is a pity because Triggur is a groovy guy and would probably have let him use it anyway. If he'd been asked. Which he wasn't. Which is why Triggur's crying. YOU MADE TRIGGUR CRY!!*
The general idea was a parody of Triggur's Santa list, so Triggur deserves credit for the general format. It seemed ubiquitous enough that I'd assumed that everyone would realize it was just a parody of his. As for how long it took to write it, I tossed it together last night, so a couple of hours.
Ok, that's fair enough. the problem is that you didn't credit him so we all just assumed you'd snarfed it for EEEEEEEEEVIL! porpoises. As soon as Triggur worked out you didn't snarf his back end code, he figured it didn't really matter. That said, if you want to put "A squamous parody of the gibbous Santa Meme by Triggur" or something, then that would be a grand gesture.
Credit is now being given. Adding a link to my LJ was a last minute thought that I tossed in this morning before leaving for work. I'd have added credit sooner, but I just came home from work.
I gave Triggur credit for giving me such a big libedo.. because before I met him I had a only had a little libedo.. Triggur is my dream bitch and he deserves all the credit. You should do the same for using his code.
