Things that happened in the last month:

• Got a new TV
• Kyle got Mario Kart: Double Dash
• m2arnold got hooked on Double Dash
• Borrowed DDR Extreme 2. Kyle gets testy if he can't get his daily fix. I slowly improve my DDR skills
• Hooked up Kyle's old computer to the TV. Wrote a simple web server to control what's playing on the TV remotely.

I was considering taking Dutch 101 this Fall as well, but I won't have any room, so I'll have to take it during Fall 2007. I thought only I was crazy enough to learn some Dutch just for fun... now my ego is shattered. :(
Hmm, you mentioned that you had taken German as well, didn't you? (I as well.) I guess it's the whole Germanic languages thing... I wish Waterloo had some Germanic linguistic courses such as Old English or Old Norse, that sort of thing.

Actually, I think that UW does have an old English course - ENGL 305A and B. Unfortunately, you need to be in at least your 3A term to take it, so that won't be an option for you for a while.

And thanks to that comment, I'm now taking Old English instead of Dutch, since it would be harder to learn Old English after I graduate, and the class timespot was nicer.
