In one of my less shining moments, while working on my assignment I typed
rm a2q3*
instead of
rm a2q3*.o

Fortunately I still had the important files open in vim so could just resave them.

I was very glad I had a fairly recent backup after wondering why the rm command was taking so long a while back. I'm not sure what US keyboards look like, but on Swedish keyboards, ~ is next to enter...
