Survived my midterms. The term is nearing its end; only a handful of assignments left in each class, and after Thursday, baring Act of Prof, nothing I do (or don't do) in Old English will affect my mark (unless I choose to take the optional test). As it is, I'm guaranteed a pass.

On the 4th I went to a Halloween party as Rorschach. Unfortunately, ( Read more... )

I meant recognized my costume, not me personally. It was great seeing all those people from Lucas again.

That's a very good idea for a costume, actually, and I think I can match you in obscure fannishness (aka dorkiness) by the fact that I went as the Fourth Doctor from Doctor Who (though we actually ended up skipping the party, so I guess it didn't matter too much.

If you don't mind, I may use Rorschach for some future Hallowe'en, as a pretty good low-budget kind of costume (though the hat may be tricky).

Congrats on getting through your midterms (though I hope you didn't actually roast a whole lamb), and good luck for the rest of the term!

P.S. please ask Biggs for the name/author of his Psychology book.

) <--- that's for a parenthesis you forgot to close. :P

Myers "Psychology", 7th ed. It's very pink.
I also got an Educational Psychology book, but I doubt it's what you're looking for.

Thank you for taking pity on a poor, abandoned parenthesis. Thank you also for the name of your book - I really enjoyed that, and may hunt down a copy of my own some time. It wasn't like learning at all!

I got the coat and blouse from Salvation Army. The hat I got new at Mark's Work Warehouse. I tried finding a better fabric to make the mask out of, but couldn't find any fabric shops in the time I was looking, so just went with the blouse.

Caelyn went as Agatha from Girl Genius. Only one person recognized her costume (one of the two who recognized me.)
