I've been to The Green Mango on Braddock Ave in Edgewood, and they were pretty good. It's a small location, so it's easy to get no place to sit, but the food was tasty and they did their best to get it out quickly (they were slammed when I went with friends). I had Tom Yum soup and some unknown-to-me curry and they were both tasty. Sorry I can't remember what the dish was, it was almost two years ago.
I've been to the Green Mango in Regent Square a couple of times. That location is also small, and usually quite busy and a little slow. The food has been good, though.
And I've been to the one in Wilkin's twp between the old John Harvard's and Applebees in that shopping center in front of Sears. It was really good. I'm told it's better than the one in Edgewood/Regent Square.
I did post a review of Hokaido, but I think in this detail you have me confused with someone else. It wasn't all that crowded when we were there. I wondered about noise levels if it were crowded.
It's not The Green Mango, however..I really enjoy Thai Place Restaurant. They have places in Shadyside, Fox Chapel, and Wexford. I've only ventured to the location in Wexford, but the people are great and the food is YUMMY!!
