Well! What I consider to be 'Act 1' of Guernica is now complete. It won't be posted until the rest of the story is finished, but I feel like I've reached the crest of a mountain (aptly enough) and it's all downhill from here. I've already passed 20k words. I'd definitely say that Jamie is less young in this story, because it's set slightly in the future from where we are now and he's a little bit world-weary, and Adam is probably less uptight because his immediate history as it was by the end of Pieces never happened.

Everything you know about them both up to the start of Pieces (with one exception) is true; 95% of the rest is a completely different story.
