I've been quiet for both good and bad reasons. First I was quiet because I started a new book, something fun and different my subconscious insisted on, and I'm 80,000 words into it. Then I was quiet because the heat of an Arizona summer hammered me flat, and I was trying not to lose the ground I'd gained earlier in the year

Thank you, everyone. It's nice to see someone other than Russian hackers hanging around. I'll try to return to LJ soon. Life has been...odd, but interesting.

The book is a good place to hide out. Hope it will be for y'all, too.

For another pleasant distraction - have you been following the installments of Innkeeper 3?

I have, when I can get to Internet. She has veered darker and a little more "blowing things up every other chapter" but it's still fun.

Note the winter pic. Psyching myself out. The current book takes place in Austin in November, so at least the evenings are cool...
