Oh gosh Alfi, you're making me want to change my defaults. At the very least I'll put the townified ones in and see how these play with my default faces. Thanks so much.
This is the second default set I have ever been tempted by and the first I'll install. You've hit the sweet spot between making sense in the Maxis world and having just that little more detail (and those particular ones) that I have been longing for.
I have been annoyed the Ren mouth, because it was so sharp along the top edge of the upper lip, and also the tendency for skins to have ridiculous musculature in all morphs (often the creators of these ridiulous musculatures like to say how much more realistic their skins are than the Maxis ones). I also get annoyed with the oily high polish that a lot of the more favored skins tend to have.
Now I wish all my custom skins were based on this.
Sharp lips are such a bother, especially on darker skins, where it's harder to fin neutral lipsticks.

This is amazing. You have the perfect amount of matte and shine, and I think fans of both Maxis Match and realism can appreciate this. And the detail.... incredible. You did an awesome job :)
Oh good! I was a little uncertain about the varying amount of shine between the colors, the darker colors got more of it, to maintain the depth of tone. I'm glad it works for you.
