Last night I tried uploading my pictures of Paris unto my PC but it wouldn't work. When I tried turning on my digital camera my only options were to format the disc or to turn off the power. For no apparent reason my memory disc is all messed up. I took hundreds of pictures in Paris, and now it seems like I won't be able to keep a single one. I ( Read more... )

Because, this week has been a bloody mess in Paris because of or our famous strikes !...µOMG !!! Poor Parisians !!!!!!
You should have seen the news on TV !... That was the real folly in the subway !!!! Incredible !!!!
And I even don't think I could have had a train !!!!
(Bloody frenchies and their strikes !)

And we also had some luck about the weather too !!!!
Even if you had some rain, it wasn't freezing like today !!!!!

It's very unfortunate that I lost the pictures, but I know that it could be much worse. I did hear about those transport strikes, so it was very lucky I met you when I did! And the weather wasn't that bad at all, in fact on the Monday morning I went back to the Sacré Coeur/Meringue and it was absolutely beautiful - there wasn't a cloud in the sky ( ... )

I also spent a great afternoon !!!!!
Too short, alas... But really enjoyable !!!!!
And if I helped you to discover some stuff, well, I'm really happy about that !!!!!!

You're right ! That could have been a real Hell with all these bloody strikes !

awwwww what a shame! I'm so sorry that happened. Bloody cameras! I hate hate hate losing precious photos! That would've been great to see those...I've always wanted to see Paris coz it looks beautiful, and of course now I have a guide when I go there! :)

I've heard people talking about some software that can apparently get back lost photos from memory cards. I'm not sure what it's called, but it could be worth a try.
