He he !!!!! Marion Cotillard won it !!!!!
Of course, I would have loved to see Cate as the winner too... But it's great to see a little Frenchie winning this award !

I was like you... I was sure Cate wouldn't had it for Elizabeth, but I was rather suuuuuuuure she would have it for her work on Dylan !!!! I didn't see the film, but with the few extracts I saw... WAOW !!! I had an idea about her performance !!!! She's amazing !!!! As always !

But in my opinion, for the first Elizabeth, she has been "robbed" by Gwyneth Paltrow, as Geoffrey has been robbed by Russell Crow (GRRRRRRRRR !!!!!!) !

And... I TOTALLY AGREE with what you say about Geoffrey's speech when he won his Oscar !!!!!

But... AAAAAWWWWWW !!!! You can hear some little vibes in his (gorgeous !) voice !... For sure he was very touched !!!!!

But I really liked his speech ! Not too short, not too long, with his own little touch of humour... So Geoffy !!!!!

Yeah, I haven't seen La Mome/La Vie en Rose, but from the clips her performance looks amazing. Everyone thought that Julie Christie would get it - but I'm glad that Marion Cotillard won it! It's very rare that an actress wins for a film not in the English language. She seemed so shocked and happy! Did you see Cate's face when they announced the winner?! She almost jumped out of her seat and had a big smile on her face - which was really nice and supportive of her. And the film also won for makeup, which is nice ( ... )

LOL !! yep !!! I loooooooved Cate's reaction as soon as the first name of "Marion" has been pronounced !!!!!
She's so fairplay !!!!!
Cate really seemed genuinely happy for our little Frenchie !!!! ;)
Another reason to love her !!! ;))

I agree with you, it was a very international ceremony !!!!!
That's really pleasant to see this !!!!!

As for the "Césars" (the French "Oscars" who were 3 days ago... and where Marion Cotillard already won it !), this was an international ceremony !!!!
That's how I love the World !!!!!

I didn't watch the Oscars... only the best moments on my TV tonight... but I heard about the Irish victories !!!!!!!
Yeah for you and your great people !!!!!!

Did I already told you that I'm a HUUUUUUUUUUUUUUGE fan of Celtic music ?!... ;)

Well, I'm sorry, Ali... But I have to go to bed, now...
We have one hour more than you... remember ! ;)
And tomorrow... a long day of work is waiting for me ! ;)

By for now !
That's always lovely to chat again with you !!!

I have been meaning to see I'm Not There. I really need to, and even more so now after they showed a clip of Cate as Dylan during the ceremony, it completely blew me away. It's like seeing her portraying the Queen you just simply forget it's her you're watching, but maybe even more so her stepping into the shoes of a musical legend who just happens to be a man! hehe brilliant ( ... )

Cate's a talented actress and she will get plenty more nominations. I kind of wanted her to win one, but wasn't too annoyed when she didn't because the standard in general was very good this year. Tilda Swinton is a good actress, so I'm happy for her. Cate's bound to win another one, or two, or more! I mean, she's only 38 ( ... )
