I just got reminded of this old Irn Bru advert, a piss take of the coke adverts that were around at the time, Irn Bru adverts have always made it sound tough, small children bending girders etc ( Read more... )

We get Irn Bru here but it's called Iron Brew...tastes exactly the same as the one up north. I know what you mean with the taste very hard to pin down. It's one of my kid's favourite drinks...must say it doesn't do much for me...I prefer a good strong Stoney Ginger Beer. :)

Half of Scotland goes to work with Irn Bru in their lunchbox

And on the weekends nothing else quite hits the mark as a hangover cure.

Man I am craving some right now, you can get it in England but only in plastic soda bottles, for the real taste you have to have it from a good old fashioned glass bottle (20p deposit), nobody knows why it tastes better out of a glass bottle, (maybe the packaging process is different but it does).
