Lucky you. Unfortunately my husband is now completely overreacting and freaking out because I voted for Bush and he won. We just had a huge fight because his beliefs differ from mine. I respect his beliefs and would have been angry but accepted it if Kerry was elected, however he is not accepting me at all right now. I'm glad that you and Melissa are able to work out your beliefs. I hope that my husband and I can resolve our differences soon.
I, too, have issues with people who did not get an absentee ballott (no matter what state) or even go to the polls when they were certainly able to do so.
I've always thought you had an amazing wife. I'm glad you think so too! ;)
And it was nice to read your thoughts- thoughts I had about my own husband today. Last night we both came home and talked about the fact that we voted. We talked about our right and privilege to vote. We talked about who we voted for, the initiatives we agreed and/or disagreed with. I was grateful that it wasn't a debate, but just listening to how we both felt, agreeing that we have completely different viewpoints and respect that both of us went out and allowed our votes to be counted and our voices to be heard. And that at the end of the day we could cuddle up on the couch, watch the election results together and go to bed knowing how much we love each other despite our differences.

I also have issues with a friend of mine from Ohio that didn't get an absentee ballot.
What do you see in the guy?
