rant about sony best buy laptop vaio

In the month of May in 2005, I eagerly bought a Sony Vaio laptop(vgn-a690) from Best Buy in. I bought a four year extended warranty for the laptop, from best buy, just to be on the safe side. this cost me an additional $300 even though it came with a manufacturer's warranty for one year

Man, that sounds really bad there. I've never heard of water damage because rust was spotted on the screws.

Usually it's family that doesn't want to admit they spilled a soda on your computer.

You know, I think there might be a class action lawsuit against Best Buy right now. Or you might want to talk to a lawyer about that.

I don't believe in class action law suites. I wanted to work it out with them. Instead of going to court and taking drastic action.
no, there was no water damage. the guy who replaced the dvd drive looked at the motherboard. The old one. It did not have water damage.
I called them again after that.

Sorry, but not a big surprise with these companies...

I'm really sorry for you, Ali, and I wish and pray it'll all sort itself out without you having to put more money into it, and that you'd get not just your money's worth out of this, but... I've noticed, that the bigger the company, the less respect they figure they owe their costumers.
