Russians are not known to be a creative nation. The military stuff you mentioned is essentially knock offs of western inventions.

A wild bunch of wretched fools, aren't they? This world would be better off without them. It's kinda understandable why mr Hitler had such sore feelings about them, maybe even justified. It's not like I, for instance, hate them, but they always strive to be an oh-so-great nation, the 50th taught them nothing about why empire way is a no-go, so the Russians should be, ahem, "contained" by the civilized world.
