one of the last things she said to me was "THEY TOOK ME OFF ALL MY MEDS, THEY SAID I WAS SCHIZOFRENIC WHEN IM OBVIOUSLY NOT", they've been diagnosing her as that for so long, i have no idea why shes freaking out and refusing meds now, its probably why shes doing a lot of this crap

joan did play the flapper in a few films, "our dancing daughters" being one of them.

but she, unlike people like clara bow, were never signature flappers. Joan crawford did so much more in her career to be categorized into a flapper for one or two films she did, considering how different the rest of it was. If that was the situation, most of the silent actresses(esp the ones that successfully carried over to talkies), would also be considered the various signature silent roles like that but arent. Also, so many of them fit into multiple categories I do NOT see why Joan crawford would be considered a flapper more than anything else. I never said she didnt play the flapper roles, just that it didnt suit her to be put into that category ;)
