Jay Sherman: Mom. Dad. I never made you laugh.
Franklin: Well, I did chuckle a bit when you tried to eat that bird and fell over the cliff.
Eleanor: No Franklin, that was the Roadrunner.
Jay Sherman: No, that was me.

the critic kicks ass.
and I always figured I turn into the father eventually.
the best one is the episode with Orson Wells doing an ad for fish sticks,
from beyond the grave.

I never saw one where he did an ad for fishsticks, just one where he did an ad for rosebud peas. He said something like "filled with rosebud peaness" and got all flustered. It was great. Oddly enough I always imagined you ending up like the father on the critic, and me ending up like a mix between margos boyfriend the next door neighbor, margo, and the father. and slightly the mother in a way that i'd have to correct you on little things like "no dear that was the roadrunner"
