Day 5
Tuesday morning was the first real day in Kunming. We were a bit late to Tai Chi practice, but it went well. This was followed by Chinese language class. Some of the sounds are French and some of them are Russian. Some sound very English. I found that between my knowledge of the three languages I was able to pronounce pretty well. This class

Wow. Just, wow. Everything you've described sounds amazing (aside from boring propaganda videos and scary immigration officials, of course); I wish I could see it firsthand.
