I hate averages. Turns out you can't just add the average of a group of numbers to others and then take an average of that. So my average so far is 77, not 80. Why is that so disappointing?

Finally got exam results - 81 for Hebrew, 84 for Greek. Only I could find that slightly disappointing. Means my average so far is 80, so in theory I'm a dead cert for a 1st. In practice this would involve me actually doing some work on my dissertation - due date is 28th March, I think. It's starting to loom slightly!

So, as you may have gathered, the last post was from befoer Christmas. Since then, I back in Edinburgh, still haven't done my thank-you-letters, and am generally not doing quite as well as I'd have liked. Ho hum ( Read more... )

I've spent the weekend at Allan's parent's house. They're nice and unscary, as is his sister. All good.

Uni is over, exams went well, but no results yet. Must start dissertation work!

My blood test and urine test came back clear. I am not dying after all. This is good. I enjoy being alive! Allan makes me incredibly, incredibly happy.
