Sark drabble
Will we get new challenges here someday? For the time being, I am happy to just write whatever, like this -- with spoilers for "Search and Rescue."

He lives without a television or radio now as he struggles for silence, meaning, acceptance. But Julian Sark walks past newspaper stands on the crowded Santiago street, and so it is there that he reads about Svoboda. He stands still for a few moments, facing the end of the world.
From the moment Sloane found Nadia, Sark knew this was coming. First in prison, and later on his own, he has endeavored to make himself ready for this day. Now he knows he failed, because he is still afraid.
There is only one hope; her name is his prayer.
