Looking back, it feels like a lifetime ago. Noah's fingers on her face, hands along her hips, lips against her skin. Sometimes, especially after she killed him, she can closer her eyes and still see him.
She can almost taste him.
She cried at first, but now she doesn't. Even with Vaughn lying next to her, she sometimes thinks of Noah. What'd she would have done if she'd found the email. She hates it, but she regrets.
She misses him less as the years pass. But she's never completely forgotten. It was never easier than when she was with Noah.
