Hi - I would really like to use your Cuddy "Well played, sir" icon and I was wondering if that would be alright with you? (Proper credit attached of course)

Go right ahead! I loved that line and Cuddy's expression in that scene---just had to bring the two of them together. :)

I just read (and was delighted by) your Huddy fic so I go to your journal and see Adama/Roslin and feel I MUST friend you (and I hardly ever friend people... just ask my flist :).

Wonderful, wonderful writing. Do you write A/R, too? (I was hip-deep in A/R until the hiatus just went on too long, I (re)discovered Huddy and simply lost interest. I don't recall seeing any A/R fic with your name on it.)

Well in that case, I'm honored! ;)

I haven't tried writing anything for A/R. I'm relatively new to the wonderfulness of BSG. Someone on my flist converted me---one look at A/R and there was no turning back. In a short time it's grown to an almost House-like level of obsession (which is saying quite a lot, considering). But really, what's not to love?

Ah, you're so lucky to be getting into A/R now. A lot of my friends and I were into them from the miniseries ("Colonial Day" cinched it), and hung in there even through their big "fight" when *nobody* thought they were a viable ship.

So now we have a promo photo of them in each other's arms... and the squee is on (let's hope there's some *real* kissage in this final season).

It's my HUGE misfortune that I'm unable to obsess over more than one pairing at a time. :( So now I'm ass over teakettle in love with Huddy and writing my first sorry-ass fics. LOL But the more I (re)watch the show, the more fodder I get. And I love to watch the show. :)

Yes---I got to watch the entire progression in about three weeks. It was pretty fantastic.

Oh, definitely. Though I can watch that kiss over and over (her smile? the unscriptedness?... God, I really can’t flail properly at work), I really hope there’s some more action on the horizon.

I’m usually like that with TV shows/pairings, too. Huddy’s taken up a post WAY at the top (flailing, fic, everything---and I’m your your fics won’t be “sorry-ass,” by the way :) and everyone else just kind of camps out at various ledges underneath. But A/R definitely have a toe on the pinnacle. I think they’re currently in negotiations for how to best share the space up there---Roslin has politics on her side, but House, of course, is being difficult. I’ll have to see what happens once we get new episodes for both again. :)

Hello there! Oh, gidget_zb is DEFINITELY the reason I got into BSG. I liked to tease her that it was only because she wanted me to be able to beta her BSG fic, but honestly... I light a candle to her daily in my BSG shrine for it, lol. I am so hooked. You'll have to excuse any incoherentness here, by the way---I JUST got to watch BSG when it actually aired for the first time and am pretty much in heaven.

And the family thing? Awesome. I am at my parents' for the weekend and am making it my mission to convert my dad to the BSG!love. And my little brother is absolutely the same way as yours, but I have a feeling I can bring him around. I'm making them watch the miniseries tomorrow. They WILL love it. I'll make sure of it.

LOL! I I can just picture it now. Do you have a room exclusively for the worship of BSG, where the shrine rests (complete with cut-outs of Bill/Laura)? And how do you keep the candles going even when you're out of said room?! My nerves would be shot to hell. (Or air locked into the vacuum of space. whatever. [omglaurailu ( ... )

Heheh. Well, if the Baltar crazies have taught us nothing else, they've shown that any "good" shrine should be complete with tacky pictures and twinkle lights. And there is absolutely nothing tragic about BSG's all-consumingness. NOTHING.

Whatever the latest one was.... Guess What's Coming to Dinner? It was awesome. BEYOND awesome. And filled with Laura even though I don't think she was in the previouslies at all. Pretty much, I was in heaven.

Huge success with the BSG conversion, as you've already heard. I left him the S1 DVDs and got this frantic call last night, because he'd finished the mini-series on his own and thought that was it. It took me about five minutes to explain that he could keep watching if he switched the disc. We'll see how he makes it on his own. And your mom? Ha! Look what we're doing to our parents.... *evil grin*

Your brother does know that that means he'll NEVER watch BSG then, right...?
