I just found out one my close friend's dad died Friday night in a car accident. I don't know what to say to her next time I IM her or see her. I can't say I know what it feels like, because I don't. Any suggestions?
She probably won't be on anytime soon, but if she is, don't bring it up. If she does bring it up, offer your sympathy. There's really not much you can do besides attempting to comfort her. Just don't drone on about it.
