Obligatory Wish-List of Doom
Rambling! I-WANT style!
-Gag gifts, of course, are always awesome. Actually, the general rule is: if you see something, and it makes you laugh, smile, and think of someone… well, it might just make a good gift for that person, yanno?
-The wonderful trifecta of books, CD’s, and DVD’s! Okay okay, I have a confession to make: I USED to be a packrat. I say “USED” because I lost a fair amount of my junk in the last two years what with all the craziness and all. I now have four VHS tapes, eight DVD movies, three TV shows on DVD, about five to eight working CD’s (not including the awesome musical soundtracks Amanda burned for me months ago), and… well, I still have a ridiculous amount of books, though they are also in a sorely depleted state. Again, any of that would be awesome.
-anything rock or jazz is a good bet!
-also, I think I’m going to get into reading that Chuck dude soon… I browsed his stuff at Recycled Books and found Survivor to be interesting already…
-and and that new Michael Criton novel about genetics looks pretty frikin’ fascinating
-and the book version of Wicked, OMG
-and the sequel, ZOMG
-any books with the following subjects are cool: taxonomy, mitochondrial DNA, the 1920’s, the 1960’s, auto-immune/metabolic diseases/disorders, mythology/theology/lore/tales/urban legends, the French Quarter (people and history and whatnot), weapons, jazz, rock, the Tudor monarchs, French philosophers/philosophy, cookies, chocolate, and so on…
-actually, there’s this Cookie Bible at Lowe’s that I’ve been eying each-and-every-time I pass it on the way to the register… for about two months now
-Not that it is, but if Across the Universe were to come out on DVD in the next week, and I were to somehow come in possession of it, you’ll be able to see one of my ultimate “glee” faces. ^_______^! Just saying.
…Now I’m going to indulge in a bit of a GEEKiness for a moment by listing a few comic books and graphic novels…
-I recently got into a series called Nextwave: Agents of H.A.T.E.. It is part of the Marvel comic-thinga-mahjigger. I have the first issue already, so any issue following that one would rock. Maybe the one where you get to color it yourself???? =*D
-the Bleach graphic novel, anything from volume 10 on up to the current volume
-any graphic novel having to do with rock bands… yeah
-Azumanga Daioh, volumes one through four
-anything from CLAMP (because I lost my Chobits collection over a year ago and now having NOTHING from CLAMP *weep weep* xD)
*sigh*… OKAY.
-I would LOVE the recipe for dark chocolate cheesecake torte, by the way, thank you. Anyone who gets me this? I’ll make some just for you. ^___^ Just, just… lemme have a taste, too.
-And the name of the brand or the recipe for the strangely-nummy peppermint hot cocoa they serve at Kush this time of year!
-Oh oh oh oh oh! Bath and Body Works! Candles and sprays and… schtuff, oh my! Japanese Cherry Blossom is my favorite scent from them, but I’m not too picky, for I also like Cotton Blossom, Juniper Breeze, Honeysuckle, Moonlight Path, and Night-blooming Jasmine as well. Also, that Temptations line they have this time of year? The chocolate mousse is simply irresistible.
-Candles are awesome, but I'll have you know that I used to be banned from playing with fire altogether when younger... I had some "issues" with it. ^____^ Heh. Flame. Prrretttty.
-Some cute scarf/cap/mitten matching set would be nice. Maybe some fuzzy boots?
-Some durable, stylish belts to keep pants up? Fitting pajamas? Toe socks? Tye-dyed schtuff? A jean jacket? Canvases and prisma colors?
-Also anything plush, cute, and furry, as long as it doesn’t chew on my furniture. Actually if someone were to get me a really cute-furry-something big enough to bear-hug… they may also see one of my top “glee” faces. *shifty glance* What?
-Model-like, nice-looking toy cars. I like “unique” models (like Beetles, Mini’s, and PT Cruisers) and muscle cars. Because I'm weird. And Andrew keeps stealing my cars.
-Fire roses. <3
-I’m avoiding electronics because… yeah, they all die on me. xD
-And video games and devices because... yeah, they're expensive. xD
-Oh yeah, and some teeth.
-Just some ideas. I’m actually extremely easy, I think. Dunno. I like…. I like stuff. AND I CAN be a GIRL. Thank you.
