as human beings we strive to fool ourselves with the idea that all of our accomplishemnts and what we achieve is a product of our hard work and our own ingenuity. it takes months and years to come to the realization that who we are, what we do, and who we will become is greatly dependent on our relationships with other human beings, who ironically go through that same ride of false independence. it is my belief that the strings of successful events in our life exist because of the support and influence of our surroundings. this is too harsh of a world to survive on our own, sadly that is the reality. but thankfully we are able to pull through will the help of family and friends -- the loved ones that are there and will be there unconditionally. so live on, my friend. enjoy your moments of glory and happiness and cherish the life that so many dream of living...

this is very true, however i also believe you cannot truly live a successful and full life until you have expereinced hardships and pain so great that the thought of death is no longer daunting. unless you are born wise enough to immediately appreciate your luxuries based on other peoples challenges. referencing the Buddha's life, you must experience both extremes before you can find the middle way. so i strive now to overcome my hardships then live an extravegant over the top life and somewhere find the middle in between. =)....i'm sleepy.
