We had a scrimmage on sunday. we were suppose to play oxy however they didn't show up till late so we mainly scrimmaged a high school team (canyon HS- from canyon country). We dominated the 1st half but that was mainly due to individual efforts. I think all of our players were stronger, faster and more in shape then the hs girls, and we were ( Read more... )

I been meaning to ask...what exactly is rugby? How is it played? I know it's a European game, but that's all I know about it...

you will hopefully learn a lot about rugby in new zealand. They are hard core about it over there. The team there is the All Blacks and they are amazing and HOT! Most people describe it like football (b/c of the tackling and shape of the ball) and soccer (b/c it's like the pace of a game). Its a great sport! 15 on the field per team and you can only throw the ball backwards or straight across. The game is 80 minutes long (2 40-minute halves) and pretty much non-stop till the ball goes out of bounds or there is a penalty. thats about all i can explain in writing. does that make sense?

jan 15th we play UCSD! you should come watch. It is a very very important game because they were #1 in D1 last year and so we really really need to win. please please please come...=)
