You'd think that after three-and-a-half seasons I would learn. You would be wrong.

WHO'S BRIGHT IDEA WAS IT TO WATCH "FAMILY REMAINS" BY HERSELF? AT NIGHT?

IF YOU GUESSED ALIBI2014 YOU WOULD BE CORRECT.

I AM SO NOT CUT OUT FOR THE HORROR GENRE. AND THIS ISN'T EVEN HARDCORE HORROR; IT'S CW HORROR. COMMENCE FORGOING THE USUAL DOUBLE-CHECKING THAT THE BACK- AND SIDEDOORS ARE LOCKED BECAUSE I AM TOO SCARED TO WALK THROUGH THE ( Read more... )

Believe it or not, I don't like horror either! (Saw is really more gross/shocking than scary IMO. The first one is more conventionally "scary.")

I would not have guessed that! But from what I know of Saw (which is basically comprised of what I've seen in your journal), it does sound more gross than outright scary. I still don't think I could watch it, though!

I cannot handle horror, either, even the CW kind. *holds close*

Also, I got your postcard! Your mountain-eating suns and PJO/SPN references were extraordinarily delightful. Thank you! ♥

I do not understand how people can handle hardcore horror. I would never sleep again!

You're very welcome! It was a good excuse to practice my ~artistic prowess~.

SPN has made infinitely better at handling horror; I screamed 3 times the last time I watched The Great Mouse Dectective, and that was when I was 19. Now I can almost watch an entire ep of SPN without looking away.

Yeah, I don't know how I'd deal with something that was actually scary for real. Just seeing you talk about this ep freaked me out. I just had to go make sure there were no feral children hiding in my closet. ._.

I like to think that between SPN and the X-Files I'm building up some sort of horror/general scariness tolerance. I'm impressed that you can watch an entire ep without looking away-- I definitely covered my eyes 5 or 6 times last night!

Nooo, I'm sorry I scared you! D: But now that you mention it, I just may check my closet, too...

Haha, yeah I used to get scared at horror, and I still do, but trust me, I've built a tolerance. As will you! *hugs* You know what DOES scare me though?

GNOMES, FECKING GNOOOOOMES! *twitches* Would you belive puzzles and GNOMES of all things are the ones to creep me out?

I hope I will! I'm such a wimp; I have a horror tolerance level of -7 million.

Gnomes are creepy! When I was hiking with my family in Yellowstone we came across all these little gnome-esque statues standing around a tree out in the woods. It was super eerie.
