Did you keep your New Year's Resolutions, and will you make more for next year? I think it was to be better at taking time out for God each day, and yes, I failed at that in like a week. I'm sure I'll make the same one though for next year, because I have to make it every day (but sadly keep failing...)

Did anyone close to you give birth? Um, 2 of my cousins and a girl I graduated with, but no one I'm close to

Did anyone close to you die? A little old lady who sat in the church pew in front of my family

What countries did you visit? Good ole USA

What would you like to have in 2007 that you lacked in 2006? Less stress and drama

What was your biggest achievement of the year? finishing my first year of college (with good grades and amazing friends), getting my first volunteering internship in the social work field, making it into the school of social work, and being in a wonderful relationship for almost the entire year (352 days of it...)

What was your biggest failure? Failing to overcome some of my weaknesses in personality and getting myself into situations that were not fun.

What was the best thing you bought? gas to take me to see the people that I love (especially to visit Thomas in Indiana...I think I would've died without the ability to go on that trip lol)

Whose behavior merited celebration? hmm, my friends who were seniors last year who now have a semester of new maturity under their belts (and are becoming even more wonderful people)

Whose behavior made you appalled and depressed? a few friends

Where did most of your money go? gas, credit card bills

What did you get really, really, really excited about? Thomas becoming my boyfriend, the HT dinner dance, my swing dance class, winter and fall retreats, my b-day, working at the women's center (I get excited about a lot of things...lol)

What song will always remind you of 2006? um, probably any country song cuz I feel like I was immersed in country when living with Jen and Nicole...lol

Compared to this time last year, are you happier or sadder? hmm, happier in some occasions, sadder in others

Thinner or fatter? I think I'm the same

Richer or poorer? Probably richer cuz I worked quite a bit over the summer

What do you wish you’d done more of? prayer and personal time with God, spent more time with people I haven't seen in awhile

What do you wish you’d done less of? homework lol

How will you be spending Christmas? I spent it with family

Did you fall in love in 2006? yes :)

What was your favorite TV program? Everwood, and I cried when it went off the air :'(

Do you hate anyone now that you didn’t hate this time last year? I don't hate anyone, but I have worse opinions of some people (and better ones of others)

What was the best book you read? well, I'm over half-way through Story of a Soul, and it's amazing. I'll finish it one of these days.

What was your greatest musical discovery? I don't think I had any new ones really, though I got into more swing music

What did you want and get? a good year (lol, i know that's a lame answer, but it's true)

What did you want and not get? I wanted to avoid certain situations, and that didn't happen. I also wanted some different outcomes from the elections

What were your favorite films of this year? "Yours, Mine and Ours," "Click," and "The Nativity Story"

What did you do on your birthday? I went to the Newsboys concert in Saginaw with Thomas

How would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2006? Comfy :p

What kept you sane? My Mom, Thomas, Jen, Mike

Which celebrity/public figure did you fancy the most? Hmm, I can't think of any really

What political issue stirred you the most? The Michigan governor's race and Proposal 2.

Who did you miss? I miss people wherever I'm at...when I'm at school I miss my family and my cat, when I'm at home I miss the people at school

Who was the best new person you met? Christina, Marc, Julie, Monica, and other new HT people

Tell us a valuable life lesson you learned in 2006: Rely on God, not people. Oh, and also that I'll have to learn this lesson many many times before I actually get it and follow it
