So, reading other people's entries I realised I totally forgot to make an entry about my Paris trip. I already posted most of the pics on Facebook and my outfits on daily_lolita so this will just be just a quick overview

Yeah, I thought the whole Tea Party, from the invitation to the last "thank you" card was very well thought of and organized! I know what you mean about the shop/blog though, it's like, there were about 10000000000 things that I was prepared to buy from AP in general but I only found a simple striped cardi at the Paris blog! I t was so awesome meeting you too :D
Glad you enjoyed the tea party! It was really nice to meet so many people from all over! ^_^ They were definitely more generous with their prizes this year, they didn't give out print items before. I too didn't eat much at the tea party, as I wasn't sure what some of the stuff were, I think I probably accidentally ate something I shouldn't have! :S
The convention looked nice too, bigger than last year's! But I didn't feel like socialising too much, and I managed to catch a friend I hadn't seen for 2 years before he moved away again! It was so hot that day though, so I can imagine being so hot inside. :<
Ha ha yeah, it happens with party food and veggies doesn't it... Even without eating anything, I was wondering later if the drinks were vegan-safe or if I drank something I shouldn't have (what with the colourings they put in these types of drinks...)
Yeah, the con space was a bit unfortunate, but I still enjoyed it. It was my first time wearing lolita in a foreign country and basically seeing 'how it's done' outside the UK!
Oh, btw, we are in Misako's book too you know!! She has a couple of pages of her trip in London, and she has some pics with various UK lolis, and that group pic we took outside the cafe after the Tea Party :) The book has different sections on Fashion & Beauty (how she does her hair and make up too), Misako's favourite shops and stuff, her trips around the world meeting other lolitas and also personal stuff about her life. It's in Japanese but it's basically a photo book so it's enjoyable anyway!
Wow the more I read about this, the more incredible the event sounded! The food looked amazing, the prizes were awesome and the little goody bag they gave you was so so cute! Its great you had such an amazing time! I'd have loved to have gone myself but lack of finances and my non existant French meant I couldnt haha. Its lovely to hear how sweet and nice Maki and Asuka are. How wonderful that they gave you are card ;DDD
Also /random/ but can I say that I respect you so much for being vegan? I keep trying to be a vegetarian but then failing horribly because I crave meat so much. I'm a born carnivore *sigh*
I am really happy that I decided to go in the end, it was really worth it! I wouldn't worry about the lack of French, quite a few of us didn't speak French at all! But all the lolis spoke English well, and the AP staff even translated everything that was announced in English too!
Aw, it's not that hard being vegan? I mean, once you figure out all the options you have and make sure you don't deprive yourself of anything, it's a piece of cake! Hmmm maybe it helps though that all the things I could *never* live without are vegan already though lol(e.g. coffee, avocadoes, tomatoes, pasta) XD
