Chapter 8
Changmin back to his hotel room with heartbreaking.
[Because I love you, Jaejoong...I treasure you a lot....]
What Yunho said echoing inside Changmin's head. The surprised expression of Jaejoong also haunted him.
[Is it true Yunho-ah? I'm happy...] Jaejoong's answer gave more shock to him.
Changmin threw himself on the bed, his heart start to teased him, started ached like a hundred of knife sliced his heart repeatedly.
'What did I told you...you have no hope on him...you fool...' His heart keep blamed himself. Changmin buried his face on the pillow. Something warm and wet flow from his eyes. This is the first time he felt heart breaking. He tried to erase his tears,but he can't stop crying.
His cellphone suddenly rang. Junsu called him. Changmin tried to calm down.
"H-Hello?" Changmin answered.
"Changmin! Where are you? why didn't you came back home?"
"Are you two finished with your...uh...new activity?" Changmin asked.
"What? What new activity?"
"A-About you and hyung doing something strange on top of his bed..."
"What?! You saw it?!" Junsu shocked and suddenly his check blushed.
"Well...yeah...that's why I'm not go home..."
"W-We've finished...s-so please go home..." Junsu stammered, still blushing. Changmin paused.
"...no...i can't..." Suddenly Changmin started to cry again remembering something in his house that will remind him of Jaejoong.
"W-Why?? Changmin? Are you crying? What's wrong? Were our 'new activity' make you uneasy??"
"...No...not that...it's nothing..." Changmin answered and sniffing.
"Wait there." Said Junsu and the phone hanged.
In a few second, someone knocked the door. Changmin opened the door with tears still falling. Junsu came in.
"Changmin-ah, what happen to you? Did someone hurt you?" Junsu asked worriedly while took of his jacket and put his umbrella beside the door. Changmin couldn't answer and just hugging Junsu. Changmin told the whole story, his feeling, and everything.
"So you runaway when you heard Jaejoong said that?" Changmin nodded.
"I see...I discussed about this with hyung too. He said that a blood partner between vampires still easy to become a mate. Because we are in a same kind and we can share our feeling by sucking blood or...or doing something like what we had done." Junsu blushing for a while. Changmin could saw that his brother is a bit different.
"But with human," He continued "...You could feel his feeling by suck his blood but he cannot know your feeling very well because he can't drink blood. You have to reach his heart. Or the easiest way is...you change him into a vampire and let him suck your blood. But, our family curse will continue..." Said Junsu.
"What do you mean?" Changmin asked.
"...our mother...she was a human before father changed her...so father already know and ready if one of his child will become like you...a day walker, with half human attitude..." Changmin widening his eyes in surprise.
"Actually, as an ex-human, mother was a day walker too and still need to ate human's food, just like you. But we trying to help her hid her secret. So, council didn't know that until they saw you calmly walk under the sun. That's what they said."
"How did you know that?" Changmin asked with not-believe-face.
"Yoochun hyung. He told me that. And he asked me not to told you until you find your blood partner or mate. He don't want to make you sad and blame your self..." Said Junsu. Changmin looks gloomy with his teary eyes.
"I'm sorry Changmin-ah that I told you about our parents. This is the time for you to know the truth. But don't be sad Changmin-ah...although you are a bit different, you are our brother. One of us, now and forever." And Junsu huged his brother. Changmin buried his face on his brother shoulder.

"You should rest and drink your medicine as doctor told you, you hear that." Yunho warned Jaejoong.
"Yeah yeah, I know that." Jaejoong answered as he lay down on his bed and Yunho help him cover his body with a blanket.
"Okay. I have to go now. My class starts in 30 minutes. i'll be back again..." Said Yunho with smile.
"You don't have to bother yourself with me. Just concentrate to your study and become a great doctor." Said Jaejoong with smile too.
"It's okay, It's not bothering at all. Okay, see ya..." And in a minute, Yunho already out from Jaejoong's house.
Jaejoong rolling his body to the left. He could felt his fever made the pillow warm. His memory rolling back to what happened today.
[Because I love you, Jaejoong...I treasure you a lot....] Yunho suddenly said something that surprised Jaejoong.
[Is it true Yunho-ah? I'm so happy...] Jaejoong felt glad yet he felt confused and hoped that it will not became a bad effect.
[But...I'm not a good best friend, right?] Jaejoong give a little test question.
[No, you're not just a best friend...] Yunho answered between his smile. Jaejoong surprised more, his eyes wider looked at Yunho.
[What do you mean?]
[All this time I'm not just seeing you as a friend or best friend... but as a brother, as a family. That's why I love you...] Yunho answered again while caressing Jaejoong's hair.
'So, it was all just a love to a brother...'
'I feel glad, because I'm afraid I can't reply his feeling if he loved me as a lover. But, somehow I feel sad. However, I ever loved him as a lover...I ever buried my feeling toward him...' Jaejoong covers his face with the blanket. Tears suddenly falling from his eyes. Dilemma, his feeling is in dilemma. He sad because Yunho don't have a love-as-a lover-feeling for him, but somehow he's glad for that, because his feeling already attracted to Changmin. But he is not human and he's not sure that Changmin like him too. He's been away for a month anyway and not come back until now.
"Uh...Changmin...Changmin...where are you...will we meet again? Do you hate me? I know you're still near here somewhere...Somehow I want to hug you so badly...Please come back..." Jaejoong grab another pillow beside him and squeeze it.
"Oh God, what a cheap of me...I'm sorry Yunho-ah...I'm sorry Changmin..." And Jaejoong fell asleep.

"Changmin-ah! Why do you want to come back to that place?" Junsu running following Changmin.
"At least I want to see him for the last time." Said Changmin from afar.
"What?? Why??" Junsu keep asking.
"I don't know. I just want to meet him." And then Changmin keep running and Junsu followed him.
"But...but...the sun still bright...aish..." Junsu grabbed his coat and follow him outside.
"Ow hot!" Junsu hurriedly come in when Changmin open Jaejoong's room window to avoiding the sun's ray.
"Sshh...! He's sleeping..." Changmin hushing as low as possible. Junsu covers his mouth. Changmin slowly approaching sleeping Jaejoong on the bed. Jaejoong sleep soundly, but with troubled face.
"His face is red..." Junsu look at him closely.
"He still have a fever..." Changmin touch slowly to Jaejong's head.
"Changmin-ah...i think you don't have to leave him..." Said Junsu.
"If you like him, we'll try to protect you two. Leaving the one you love is a difficult thing, right? Separation is sad..." Said Junsu again.
"But, if I stay, I will make him in a dangerous situation... I don't want that..." Said Changmin.
"As my gratitude for his help and care when I runaway and separated from you and Yoochun hyung that time, I will not become a bother to him. He likes Yunho afterall, I want them to become happy together..." Said Changmin again like gonna cry. Junsu hug him and give him back rub. Junsu feel dissapoint, he likes Changmin and Jaejoong become a couple.
"But don't worry, I will always protect him from afar. I won't let those vampire approach him because of me."
"But, don't face them yourself Changmin-ah. You are in danger too, remember..."
"Okay...let's go for now... before we waking him up....and don't say that this is your last meeting with him."

Because of the fever, Jaejoong sleep all day. Yunho visits him after his college, brought some food for Jaejoong.
"Yunho...? You seriously come again? Is it okay...?" Jaejoong asked with weak voice in his bed seeing Yunho come into his room.
"Yeah, I bring some food. I put them in your kitchen. I'll prepare them after this. How's your fever?" Yunho approaches Jaejoong and touch his temples and his cheeks.
"Ah...still hot..." Said Yunho worried and a bit dissapointed.
"Okay, time to prepare the food." And then Yunho off to the kitchen. Jaejoong followed him to the kitchen.
"What are you preparing?" Jaejoong asked, lean on the kitchen's door frame.
"I bought soup from my campus cafeteria. They sold foods for sick people too." Said Yunho while preparing the soup.
"Soup?" Jaejoong looking at the soup.
"Why? You don't like it?" Ask Yunho gigling.
"N-no... I like it very much..." Jaejoong smiled.
"Now now, go back to your room. Your fever will raise up if you like that." Yunho wave his hand asking Jaejoong to go back. Jaejoong goes back to his room and climb up to his bed. Not too long, Yunho come in with a bowl of soup in his hand.
"Okay, time to eat." Yunho smiled.
"So you are ready become doctor or nurse, huh? Look at your smiley face." Said Jaejoong.
"Ahahahahaha... I guess you're right..."
"Okay, here open your mouth..." Yunho feeds Jaejoong. Jaejoong open his mouth and eat a spoonfull of soup.
"Not bad, but it's plain..." Jaejoong commented.
"Sick people cannot eat such a spicy food, be patient..." Yunho chuckled and feed Jaejoong again.
Somehow, Jaejoong's heart throbbed.
"What happened? Why are you crying Jae? Is something hurt? Or do you not like the soup?" Yunho suddenly worried. He put the bowl on the table and examine Jaejoong.
"N-no...I'm fine... it's just my head hurts." Jaejoong answered.
'And my heart...you don't know how hurt it is, Yunho...'
'Why do I suddenly remember about you again, Changmin? Seeing that soup make me remember about our first meeting...'
'Such a nonsense, not too long I knew you, already make me fall for you...such a nonsense...
"What's the matter Jae? Does it hurt so much? Do you want to lay down?" Yunho worried.
"No, let me finish eating..." Jaejoong answered.
"Yeah you have to eat...If you feel dizzy, you can lean on me Jae..."
Jaejoong lean agains Yunho's chest and Yunho continue to feed him.
"Well...when you're sick, you are spoiled as always, Jae..."Yunho chuckled.
"okay here...say aaa..."
From outside of the window a sad face watch those two...
'Yeah...like that...Yunho can always make you happy and could always comfort you...'
Suddenly tears falling from his eyes.
"Ah...Changmin-ah...you already visit him more than twice...this scene just make you sad...come on let's go home...i'm lack of sleep here...guarding him doesn't mean to keep visiting every time..." Said junsu from top of the roof. But Changmin doesn't give any reaction. He keep standing there and crying in silent.
"Come on Changmin-ah...Let's go back...don't hurt your self more than this..." Junsu grab his arm and take him home.

Sorry for, maybe the bad tenses, short and confusing story...
And sorry for very very late update because suddenly there are many events and activities at my campus and I always chosen as one of committee of the event. And also many college tasks for the end of semester's test next week...>.<
