Hang on in there, Alice. It is a tricky phase this trying to be friends. But you will get there, you'll see. You just have to be honest with each other, that you want to be friends but you are still finding the adjusting hard.

Secondly... CONGRATULATIONS!!! On graduating!! And what Jill (i think?!) said aboout it being your day, is so very true! You worked hard for it, and you deserve a day of celebration for it.

And finally when you say... "watch a total hip replacement" you mean literally?! As in you are in the same room and everything?! Thats insane! I think I'd have fainted in seconds!

Thanks for the support, Alice. I know it'll get easier it's just so fricking hard at the moment!! I want to talk to him about being friends but he won't talk to me, and I don't know why. Which just makes me feel sad. =(

Hehe, thanks for the graduating congratulation, it was fun! =D

And yes, I watched an actual hip replacement in the same room and everything! It was crazy, but so interesting! And even weirder, the patient was awake for the entire operation, she just had an epidural and some nerve blocks in her leg! If you ever get the chance to see surgery you should go, it's ace! =D
