(no subject)
Just bored today. Can't wait for this week to be over. With the full moon, the phones and patient's have been just crazy. (honestly, there is some weird connection between the two).
Hoping I can take off a couple days next week. Hehehe, I've scheduled a full day at the salon with the works (i.e. massage, facials, pedi/mani, etc.). I need it. It will be sooo relaxing. I love MN renters rebate. Now that i've just scheduled it, I hope my supervisor gives it to me. She is gone this week but told me I could just pencil in a couple days next week if I wanted so it should be all good. One day for the spa, and maybe go with heidi so I can get fitted for my bridesmaid dress for her wedding next summer. I think we may be ordering too soon in advance but I'll just have to make sure I don't gain any "winter weight."
The other day I want to go and see my nieces...I miss the babies soo much. Besides, Skye is starting preschool this year and I want to take her shopping for a new school outfit.
This weekend should be fun, I'm going to Irishfest in Milwaukee, although I'm not sure what to expect. My sis wants to because her fav band is playing so we're heading there. I spend half an hour this morning trying to figure out what hotel I had booked us at because I had done it back in May. I could not for the life of me find the confirmation page and now I know next week when I no longer need it, it will show up on my desk at home. I need to get better organized there.
My poor kitty will be alone though for a couple of days so I hope she dooesn't eat all the extra food I put out for her the first night. The vet said she needs to be on a diet (me and her both) so I've had her on Science Diet lite. I'm not sure if its helping, she still seems awfully poochy but I love her, she's so cuddly but she hates being cuddled. I'm the only person she lets hold her and thats just tolerating me doing it. Its soo fun to do because I know it annoys her. LOL....but she makes it up when she plays with squeaky mouse in the bedroom at like 4 in the morning when I have to be up at 6 for work. The stinker.
Its been so cold up here lately. I hope the summer doesn't end too soon, it came way to late. Plus, I finally moved to an apartment building with a pool but I've been working so many hours at both my jobs that I think I've gotten to use it just once. I'd like to get in at least another swim sometime. oh well, next year it will be my goal to make use of my pool and my balcony and grill. I swear, I WILL take time off to do it.
I see on our company website that there is a assistant secretarial supervisor position open. I'm debating whether to apply or not. I'm pretty sure with my experience, I quality for it but I hate leaving the department I'm in. Just when I'm getting new people who are decent and fun to work with. But it would be more challenging and a pay raise. Soo much to think about.
